The Baseball

The Baseball

The talented local filmmaker Brandon Freeman created this stirring short. It is a 10 minute reminder about life, consequences, and choices. (It also stars acquaintance Colin Mansfield.)

Ex-inmate Theatre presentation of Peter Kreeft's 3-man readers theater play :

This Sunday, April 6th at 6pm at Vineyard Boise a reprise of reader’s theatre production of “Between Heaven and Hell”.

It's a conversation between JFK, CS Lewis and Aldous Huxley shortly after all their deaths on Nov 22, 1963.

It’s free,! (Tho donations will be taken)

I wouldn't miss it for the world.

September Is Recovery Month

Jesse Nilo from VineArts informed me via email that this month is national recovery month.

some details from her email about the related art contest here in Boise:

".. (a) cool RECYCLED ART contest that will be shown at a rally to celebrate RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE. Wow... art, recycling, and recovery.

Art entries are due downtown on Sept. 18, next Tuesday. "Join the Voices for Recovery: Saving Lives, Saving Dollars." The human and financial costs of substance abuse are staggering, and the freedom of recovery and treatment are worth every penny invested in people's lives."
Short notice, but hey, look what was done in 7 days?

For more details about the contest contact Jesse or go here.
Or for more about the event go here (Event #563 at bottom of page.) Or here.
